Summer 2015 Auction Now Live

727 Lots Up For Bids!

Our summer auction is now posted and up for bids at LiveAuctioneers.com.

If you have kept up with our past auctions then you will be very excited about the upcoming sale that features more of the same types of great items.  Just a few highlights are mentioned below:

Decorative Arts:

Pairpoint Lamps
Handel Lamps
Newcomb College Pottery
MT. Washington Glass
Fairyland Lustre Vases
Emile Galle Vases
Daum Nancy Vases

Coins:

A selection of rare coins across several different categories.  Many of these coins are consigned from the estate of a gentleman who was collecting mostly in the 1950s from Max Mehl.

Banknotes:

As per usual, we have a wide selection of large size type, which is highlighted by a 1918 $1000.  Foreign and Canadian notes are well-represented.  A slew of $500 and $1000 notes are available at no reserve, as well as a nice group of fancy serial numbers.  The rarest notes are found in the national banknote section.  That category has many newly discovered rarities including a Georgia lazy deuce, a serial #1 brown back from Florida, and an 1882 double denomination.

Advertising:

Pocket mirrors, beer trays, and porcelain signs make up the advertising portion of the sale.  The most expensive lots will likely be a Husky and Sinclair sign.  Both should sell for more than $10,000.

Railroadiana:

More than 150 lots of railroad collectibles will round out the auction.  Pieces will be available from $10 to $1,000.
