Salisbury, NC - Ch. 2981 - 1882 $5 Brown Back

There are about 15 really nice 1882 $5 brown backs from this Salisbury bank. This piece is new to the census, but it is from that run. It has picked up some wear, but it is solidly VF. Thanks to the small grouping that was saved, the note offered here might be the ultimate NC $5 brown back for the collector putting together a state set on a budget. This note has great colors, square front margins, and the pen signatures are still as clear as ever.
