Fr. 304 1908 $10 Silver Certificate

This might be the proverbial "sleeper" of the auction. Shooting from the hip, I would guess that maybe 1 in 40 VF 1908 $10 tombstones has a chance at earning the coveted PPQ designation. I don't know why, but this series just always seems to pick up a split, pinhole, foreign substance, or any of the other small maladies that keep away the PPQ qualifier. Mid-grade PPQ notes will likely only get scarcer as time goes by and there is more motivation to cut out and try to improve nice original notes like this.
