Fr. 96 - 1869 $10 Legal Tender

This $10 jackass rainbow note has some of the best colors and paper quality I recall ever seeing for the issue. It doesn't have anything remotely close to a hard fold. At the right light 2-3 vertical bends can be viewed. PCGS has noted a small rust stain and hole, likely from where this was pinned to a wall or with some documents. Any collector of currency with eye appeal will certainly be drawn to this specimen. The note would be a great bargain if it does only sell for the conservative estimate listed here. It dates back to a 1986 Hickman Oakes sale where it was listed as AU.
