All the deuce collectors will likely immediately take note of this offering. 1878 $2 legal tenders, even when grouped as a type by the four different signature combinations, are still scarcer than classically sought after rarities like lazy deuces, rainbows, and educationals. The note offered here does have a minor internal tear, but otherwise it is exceptional for the grade. Bright colors and vivid printing details should make this a great example for the type set.
