Eagle River, WI - Ch. 12124 - 1902 $5 Blue Seal PB

Eagle River is certainly one of the better town names for Wisconsin. The note offered today is new to the collector census. The Chet Krause large on this charter sold for $9,200 in 2008 and it was only listed as F/VF with stamped signatures. This piece is a full VF with lovely pen signatures and a low two digit serial number. While $9,200 probably won't be reached today, it seems likely that the high end of our estimate could be challenged or topped. We will mention the presence of a single staple hole for accuracy.
