Moline, IL - Ch. 160 - 1882 $5 Brown Back
The First National Bank of Moline was an early charter but closed in 1905. This note is far rarer than it might appear at a glance. The census now stands at just four pieces, one of which is a very low grade brown back. This is the only $5 brown back. The black signature ink has cut through the paper some, otherwise the note is choice for the grade and should be of great interest to Rock Island County collectors.
