Hartford, CT - Ch. 186 - 1882 $10 Brown Back

This new discovery is by far the nicest of the now just three brown backs known from this popularly named bank. Of course the Charter Oak tree plays an important part in the history and lore of early Connecticut. The note offered here has a couple spots of a foreign substance on its left side. However, we believe the dark pen signatures, rich brown inks, and overall rarity more than make up for that small condition blemish.
