Emporia, KS - Ch. 1915 - Series 1875 $2 First Charter

An evenly circulated 1875 lazy deuce from this short-lived Emporia bank and a note that still displays a bold red overprint and dark pen signatures. This is one of the very few banks in Kansas from which it is possible to obtain an example of this scarce and popular denomination.
