Fr. 247 1896 $2 Silver Certificate

The red seal is a touch light on this 1896 $2 educational. Other than that, we can find absolutely nothing negative to say about this specimen. The paper is thick, crispy, and can still easily hold a fold. The back also has that traditional dark rich green that we expect to see on these issues. This is a solid Very Fine.
